    TESTIMONIALS

"The school was all a buzz after your visit. The media center had a run on requests for your books. We all had a fantastic time and we will definitely keep in touch regarding future presentations. On a personal note, I truly enjoyed your organized approach to scheduling and your prompt response to my every request for more information. Your package with all of the necessary promotional supplies was amazing. Thanks again for a wonderful morning at Silver City!"

"MANY THANKS go to you, Chris! Everyone totally enjoyed your Family Night program — you really reached the youngest to the grandparents. Person after person made a point of telling me how much they enjoyed your presentation. It was FABULOUS! We learned a lot and had a great time doing it. We thank you for your loving spirit for kids and learning to read and write. I hope you will have contacts from Principals in the future as people begin to plan their budgets for next year. I will certainly offer recommendations to them.

"Thank you again, Chris, for everything."

"I can't tell you how grateful we were for the honor of having Chris Rumble present at our school. The kids were so excited about reading they couldn't put his books down even after he left. The kids took his books out to the playground the next day and were reading them to each other. It was unbelievable! Chris truly has a gift for instilling the love for reading in students! He brought tears to our eyes when he presented our very special students with his illustrations. The staff has been expressing their gratitude for such a great Author Visit. One teacher asked me, 'Did you see the look on their faces?' Then we both said that Chris inspired us because now we want to put that look on their faces, too. Chris was the gift we all needed this year to inspire our students to be the readers we know they can be."

"I want to brag on Chris Rumble! He just spent three days with us, and and he was FABULOUS! He has visited quite a few schools in our county, but I also want to say what a great job he did with our special ed kids — our special ed preschool teachers have told me that this is the first performer that the school has had come in that they felt their kids really enjoyed. Chris saw the whole school over 3 days. Everyone from pre-K to 5th grade really enjoyed him. His rates depend on what you are doing, but he was VERY reasonable and willing to work with our PTA budget."

"The kids at our school loved Chris Rumble. I was so impressed with the way kids kept their attention on him. Chris truly has a gift with them. He is an inspiration to children and I hope that more children in my area get to benefit from his teachings and talents!"

"Chris Rumble was both motivating and inspiring as he helped Social Circle Primary kick off our reading incentive program. His love of reading, music and children is clearly evident throughout his program. He believes in audience participation, and he had both students and teachers singing and dancing as he sang songs like 'I'm a Big Reader' (to the tune of 'I'm a Believer'). You won't be disappointed if you invite the Reading Guitar Man to entertain and educate your students — and you'll probably be looking for an opportunity to have him back!"

"Chris was wonderful with our students! He kept their attention by singing songs about reading and involving the students in the singing. His stories were entertaining and funny! Our students really warmed up to him and kept wanting to give him hugs after the presentation! He really helped focus our kids' attention on reading and how much fun it can be!"

"Here's a big THANK YOU for giving an amazingly FUN and UPLIFTING performance for our Cheatham Hill Champions last week. I can't remember when our children enjoyed a guest in our school more. Your heart is in the right place for these children, and it really shows. Even when you're a millionaire book tycoon, please keep singing your way into our children's hearts!! I hope you'll come see our students again in the years to come!"

"Mr. Chris Rumble, also known as "The Reading Guitar Man," brought to my second graders songs about reading, books about laughing, and poems about loving. My students would listen intently and participate wholeheartedly as Mr. Rumble would lead songs and read books. Mr. Rumble's passion for children and excitement about learning was evident every time he entered our classroom. He instilled values and promoted friendship, displayed compassion, and celebrated the uniqueness of each child. Mr. Rumble blessed my second graders in a powerful way and made quite an impression on them. They are better people because of the impact he had on their lives."

Your passion, compassion and genuine love for inspiring children to read is so evident in everything you do — from walking in the building, to setting up,to actually performing as you bring each and every child into your music and words about reading. "Well, teachers are all singing your praises — and that says a lot. They are sometimes the most critical group because it's hard for them to give up their instructional time for assemblies. But they all LOVED the program! Thanks again for a great time — our school will remember this visit for a long time to come! God Bless you and your career."

"I can't tell you how many teachers came up to me the day after our Literacy Night and said... 'The kids raved about last night!! They had a blast... what a success that was!' Some teachers who weren't there: 'WHAT did you do last night that got the kids so inspired?' Thank you for going over and beyond. You are a star here at Meadowcreek with many, many fans! Keep on doing what you're doing, it motivates kids! Your books are true favorites... You are touching kids' lives."

"On behalf of the faculty, staff and PTA of Matt Elementary School, I want to thank you for coming and spending part of the day with us. We love to have visitors, and the students love to see and hear 'famous' people. It is an extra special treat to have a book signed by the visiting author, too. I will definitely recommend you to the Media Specialists in Forsyth County and to anyone else that might want a visiting author in their school. The public library could also use someone like you during their Summer Reading Program presentations. I will let them know also.

"Thanks again. It was great meeting you and getting to know you. I look forward to seeing you in years to come."

"Your sense of humor caught and kept my students' attention. Afterwards, I overheard my students saying, ' That was great! I liked it. It was cool.' Your acceptance of students' responses stood out in my mind. I would most definitely recommend this workshop to my colleagues. Meeting a real life author is something that most kids will never do."
