Cyd Moore's delightful and beautiful illustrations have been called "strokes of magic." Her pictures appear in over 40 children's books, including I Love You, Stinky Face, Alice & Greta, and Willow, as well as McDonald's Happy Meal boxes, games, magazines, and more. A true southern belle, author, story-teller, and world traveler, Cyd's energy and enthusiasm lights up the room. Her lively presentation is always a favorite at education and library conferences. She gets rave reviews from teachers, parents, and students from kindergarten through college.

Cyd graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia. She has been an illustrator and graphic designer, working at television stations, newspapers, and ad agencies. She created the annual art directory, Picturebook Directory of Children's Book Illustration which showcases the work of children's book illustrators around the world. For the past 25 years, she has illustrated award winning children's books and spoken to thousands of children, parents and teachers. She loves her job!
